Steiner Preschool Program Monday - Wednesdays Mornings 9 am - 1 pm The preschool program provides a rich exposure to language and culture through folk stories from around the world and seasonal folk songs and verses. Children experience social interactions through imaginative play and practical activity. There is rhythm and balance to each morning, with a healthy mixture of active pursuits such as circle games and outdoor play (weather permitting) along with quiet activities such as bread baking, watercolor painting, and beeswax modeling. There is a rhythm to the year through our observation of the natural world and celebration of seasonal festivals. The program is led by Darla Barrows, a Waldorf trained early childhood educator.
